Central High School’s Black Student Union hosted their first district-wide #BlackHistoryMonth conference, “SAY IT LOUD…!” The event not only just focused on creating ways to recognize excellence in individuals and groups in the community but to reflect on personal assets, recharge tools for resilience and examine media’s projection of people of the African Diaspora. (Feb. 5, 2020, Phoenix, Arizona).
